3 Nigerian artists have been nominated at for the best African Act
category for the 2013 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) awards. Tiwa Savage,
Ice Prince & WizKid will battle it out along with Atumpan from
Ghana,
Bombino from Niger, Fuse ODG from Ghana, South African Group
Mafikizolo, and Spoek Mathombo from South Africa also. The nominees were
announced earlier this evening at the nomination event at The London
Connaught Rooms. In addition the official MOBO awards twitter handle
announced the nominees via twitter. The event also featured
performances from some of the brightest stars in entertainment. This
will make it the 2nd time WizKid is nominated at the MOBO awards, and he
claimed the prize in 2011. Last year, Dbanj took home the award.
